See the Perseides meteor shower from Montréal (and a bonus for 2021: the Crescent Moon)
Everybody loves to see meteors fly across the night sky, and the Perseides is the best time of the year to catch them. Ideally, you want to be outside of the city to watch the show, but if you can't, this is the next-best thing.
Come join us to learn about and watch the best meteor shower of the year from Montréal.
SCHEDULE
- 8:40 PM: meet at Parc Beaubien
- 8:45 PM: begin walking up the mountain trail to Belvédère Outremont
- 9:10 PM: arrive at the Belvédère Outremont
- 9:15 PM: see Venus and the Crescent Moon with the telescope
- 9:30 PM: the first meteors begin appearing

WEATHER RULES
- If it's threatening rain or completely cloudy, we're NO GO
- If it's partly cloudy, but we can still be outside and spot some meteors, we are GO
- If there's no clouds at all, we are GO
