What you'll see and learn

The International Space Station has been in orbit around Earth for over 20 years. When it flies overhead and the Sun's light hits it just right, we can see it moving in the sky as a bright dot!

When you'll do this

The ISS isn't visible every night, and you'll need to know exactly when it flies overhead.

You can do this anywhere, even from a light-polluted city! Just make sure you have a clear view of the sky where the ISS will appear.
