Typically, a school gymnasium is used for the dome, required for the entire day. However, if you have another room in your school that would fit the dome space, this will work too.
It is required to have no other noise or activities going on in the room during shows.
- 20-25 young children
- 10-15 adults
During the show, it is recommended that the audience lays on the floor looking up at the dome. If floor mats are available at your venue, I can use these for comfort.
I can have limited chair seating inside the perimeter of the dome.
Students enter the dome by walking through an "airlock" and taking a seat on the floor. Unfortunately, wheelchair users can't enter this way.
I will do my absolute best to accommodate. Please let me know in advance if there are any students with special needs and we can plan their experience.
It takes about 1 hour to set up the planetarium dome. Here is a video showing the setup process:
I offer shows within a three-hour drive of the Montréal area.
On the island of Montréal, there is no travel fee. But off the island of Montréal, I do charge a $0.50 / km travel fee.
