Montréal Solar Eclipse
Montréal Portable Planetarium Show
On April 8, 2024, a total solar eclipse will come to Montréal.
In this planetarium show, students will get to see what will happen and how they can get ready for it.
Show Outline
This show is designed to last 25 minutes.
- students enter the dome
- we fly through space to see the Earth, Moon, and Sun on the day of the eclipse
- we see the shadow made by the Moon on Earth
- we "land" on Earth and get a close-up view of what the Sun and Moon will look like on that day
- we zoom out and show what we'll see from Montréal
- students exit the dome
